After few weeks, in September, this idea came true and a website was published with a list of entries taking part in it. The competition was divided into two rounds: 2 semi-finals with 15 songs each and a big final with the best 15 entries.
Winners were Colonia, a very popular Croatian dance group with their song "Za tvoje snene oci". Members of this band are the disc jockeys Boris Đurđević and Tomislav Jelić and the vocalist Indira Vladić. After winning Eurodance, Colonia recorded an English version of the song entitled "A Little Bit Of Uh, La La La" that was then published in many European Countries including Italy, Germany, Austria, Denmark.
The second place was won by "Salaja" performed by Hannah, one of the most talented and well-known Estonian singers of all times. This track became the greatest hit in the Estonian Pop history and was awarded the title of Best Dance Hit of 2001. "Salaja" was produced by Caater, a team of disc jockeys from Tallin who then represented their Country in the 2003 Eurodanceweb award.
The Belgian dance act Milk Inc placed third with the hit single "Livin'a lie", which charted in several European and Asian Countries.
